When to come and what to expect when you get here are the first important considerations and should not be taken lightly. This safari, commencing in Maun and ending in Kasane, provides guests with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the wilderness by staying in small, customized mobile camps in remote areas. Typically, a mobile camp consists of a central area serving as a dining area. Camp chairs are arranged around a fire-pit or beneath the shade of a tree. The accommodation is tented.
This is a comfortable non-participation private camping safari.

Detailed Itinerary
Pick-up from Maun international airport by your professional safari guide, introduction and briefly on what to expect on this safari, before you head out for Nxai pan National park which is about 2-3 hours drive depending on what to see on your way.
The area is known for large herds of Springbok and Gemsbok, species that are not water dependent. The waterhole at the heart of the pan allows for some remarkable wildlife sightings. Nxai Pan is an ancient lakebed scattered with islands of Acacia Trees. Arrive late afternoon at the camp, find food ready, siesta, get ready for the next day, share your day experience with your safari guide,as he gives you highlights of the next day.
Up with the dawn, you will greet the beauty of this extraordinary landscape coffee and rusk in hand. For the next two days you will have an early start. We will leave camp just after sunrise and head to the scenic and wildlife-rich areas of Nxai Pan. Experience a diverse wildlife in its natural habitat. See isolated salt pans, most of the animals coming to Boteti River to quench their thirst. One of the hidden gems of Botswana, Crossover Park between semi-arid central Kalahari and watered northern Botswana, Only park in Botswana where both springbok and impala can be seen. Access to Makgadikadi and Baines’ Baobabs.
The focal point of Nxai Pan, particularly in the dry season, is the artificial water hole, situated in the midst of a large open plain which is dotted with short acacia trees. This is the only water available in the dry season within many kilometres. Here, and within the surrounding mopane woodland some of the permanent residents include lion, giraffe, kudu, ostrich, elephant bulls, and large numbers of springbok. The iconic jackal and bat-eared fox can be found foraging on the plains.
We return to camp for brunch and a siesta before heading out for a late afternoon game drive that will lead to sundown, G&T, wine, beverages, snacks will be served as you will be looking at an African sun as it sets.
Return to camp for dinner, share your daily experience with your safari guide, pre-briefly on the next day before your good night sleep.
We wake up early for breakfast before we break camp, en-route to Makgadikgadi salt pans. Makgadikgadi salt pans is the world’s largest, is a remnant of a once massive inland lake. Today they offer spectacular scenery and endless horizons. In season a large variety water birds nest here. The pans offer a truly unique camping experience as well as an opportunity to witness an unforgettable sunset. Arrive late afternoon find camp already set, find warm water to refresh-up.
This is a once in a lifetime experience, where you spend a night on the largest salt pans in the world, which is the Makgadikgadi salt pans, in an open sky on a bedroll without a tent. Experience the silent night on the southern hemisphere sky while watching the stars and constellations. This is a vast area of salt pans with on trees growing on them, that’s whats makes them an amazing area to spend a night on. You will have your sun downer on the salt pans. Dinner sitting around the fire in the open sky where you will be having your dinner.After dinner will be star gazing until when you are ready for bed.
Your wake up time in the morning will be before sunrise so you can watch the sun rising.
Tea and coffee just prior to sunrise, departing camp immediately afterwards and Transit to Maun, arrive late afternoon.
You will be staying in a lodge in Maun, lodging (at an extra cost) enjoy a 24 hour front office with friendly receptionists to assist you with all you need. Other essentials are free WIFI, free newspapers, family friendly atmosphere, secure parking and a security system to make sure you and your valued items remain safe at all times. You will stay here for one night.
We aim to depart Maun at around 8am so we have a good chance of sisesta at the camp before the afternoon game drive.
Upon arrival at your designated camping ground in Moremi, you will find your camp ready with tents erected. Time to relax and stretch your legs, enjoy a leisurely lunch followed by a relaxation period during which the guide will deliver a short briefing about Moremi Game Reserve and other information regarding the safari, before heading out for an afternoon game drive through the beautiful scenery of this part of Moremi. There is a good chance of seeing leopard, lion, wild dog, hyena, kudu, waterbuck, giraffe, zebra, elephant, buffalo, rhino and impala – to name a few. Birdlife is quite amazing in the area with birds such as secretary bird, hornbill, lapwing, vulture, African jacana, African fish eagle, hamerkop, kori bastard, lilac breasted roller, and crested crane amongst many other species.
Return to camp for pre-dinner refreshments, take dinner under the stars and later relax for a while around a blazing campfire listening to the calls of hyenas and lions. Guests interested in astronomy will be treated to one of the most expansive displays of stars on earth, before retiring in cosy tents for the night and drifting off to the sounds of the wild.
Today you have another early start. We will leave camp just after sunrise carry our bags as we move for Khwai community reserve, one of Botswana’s best kept secrets. Khwai Reserve abounds with some of the country’s most abundant sightings of lions, African wild dogs, leopards, and hyenas. Here we can go off-road to encounter wildlife very closer,though we not forget to take care of animal’s comfort zone. We spend 3 nights here ,night drive is possible here our chance to experience the nocturnal species.
Return to camp for pre-dinner refreshments, take dinner under the stars and later relax for a while around a blazing campfire listening to the calls of the hyenas and lions. Guests interested in astronomy will be treated to one of the most expansive displays of stars on earth, before retiring in cosy tents for the night and drifting off to the sounds of the wild.
Early breakfast before your last game drive with us .We transit to Kasane as we say good-bye to each other.
